Seyla Benhabib

Seyla Benhabib is the Eugene Meyer professor of political science and philosophy at Yale University, where she teaches nineteenth- and twentieth-century European social and political thought. She has written and edited more than 15 books on subjects ranging from universal human rights to migration, Islam, and cosmopolitanism. Her next book, Playing Chess With History. Exile, Statelessness, Migration From Hannah Arendt to Isaiah Berlin, will be published next year.
