Alex Garcia is an award winning editorial photographer and director based in Chicago, with more than twenty years experience as a newspaper photojournalist, most recently for the Chicago Tribune.
He work has been awarded honors by World Press Photo, Pulitzer Prize for team coverage, Pictures of the Year and the NPPA Best of Photojournalism.
His other photographic credits include the books A Day in the Life of the U.S. Armed Forces, America 24-7, America At Home, and The Human Face of Big Data.
He currently serves on the board of the National Press Photographers Association.
