An oil painting of William Shakespeare believed by some historians to be the only authentic representation made during his lifetime was unveiled Monday by The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in London. The 'Cobbe Portrait' (probably circa 1610), owned by art restorer Alec Cobbe, is the latest chapter in centuries of controversy over what Shakespeare actually looked like.
