Al Gore jokes (sort of) that stepping in to "broker" an early primary conclusion--however that's supposed to work--would amount to a "Boss Tweed" action.
I don't know if he meant it this way but that would also tend to imply the same for a potential superdelegate override of the pledged delegate count.
