The new Ghostbusters trailer features zero words spoken by a man.

Rebooting the classics can run the risk of leaning too hard on nostalgia. But as we saw with Ryan Coogler’s work reviving the Rocky franchise with Creed, a light touch and some smart casting choices can reenergize dilapidated properties. The new Ghostbusters is directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, The Heat, Freaks and Geeks), who has a pretty good track record working with hilarious women. Though it would have been nice to see Leslie Jones play a scientist alongside Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and Kate McKinnon—and not the street-smart friend—this cast seems poised to deliver a very solid comedy. Let’s hope Chris Hemsworth’s verbal contributions to the film will stay minimal.
