David Bowie has died at the age of 69.

The legendary musician’s death was first reported on the artist’s official social media accounts, and was confirmed by a representative.“David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer,” read a post on the artist’s official Facebook page. His son also confirmed the news via Twitter:
