A man wielding a knife has been killed in Paris on the anniversary of the Charlie Hebdo attack.

French police say that they shot the man after he attempted to enter a police station while shouting “Allahu Akbar!” Witnesses reported that wires were sticking out of the man’s body—and some outlets are reporting that he was wearing a fake suicide vest and/or belt—but a police robot found no explosives on his body.

Today is the first anniversary of the attacks on the satirical newspaper’s offices, which left eleven dead. The cover of their anniversary issue, which the Vatican newspaper says “disrespects all faiths,” is below.
